Caffeine

Black, or fully fermented, tea produces about one-half the caffeine found in a comparably sized cup of coffee.

The flavor of ripe rich raspberries lends itself to the fragrant vanilla pineapple notes of quince - an ancient apple like fruit. Tart hibiscus completes the blend resulting in a sweet, harmonious cup.

Preparation & Serving

Infuse one level teaspoon or tea bag per cup for three to four minutes. Excellent served over ice.

Iced Tea Brew Bags - Item #16043
1. Fill a kettle with fresh water and
heat to a rolling boil (64 oz or 1/2 gallon).
2. Place one Iced Tea Brew Bag in a suitably
sized pitcher and pour hot water over the top.
3. Steep for 5-6 minutes and remove bag.
4. Refrigerate tea until cool and pour of ice.

Interesting Anecdotes

Quince, an ancient fruit native to Mediterranean regions, is famous for its rich bouquet of flavors: apple, vanilla, pineapple, and guava notes. Only palatable when cooked, this fruit has been used since Roman times in jams, jellies, and pastes. Since the Victorian period, a popular use for the hard fruit is to scent dresser drawers.
